Update 6/5/12

Well, it's been almost a year since I posted my video game status update!

Word has been released that Company of Heroes 2 will be dropping sometime next year, and I'm psyched! I hope that the game sets a new benchmark and earns more acclaim than the original; and a cleaner launch would help that significantly. The original COH launch was a little rough with almost no online server support, so hopefully this next release will nail down those weak points so that the game itself truly has a chance to shine!

I have a level 51 Monk in Diablo 3. If you want to add me, my user name is AtomicWombat#1387, hope to see you on! Diablo 3 is way fun, it's like WoW without the "running through molasses" aspect of MMO gameplay that my friend Steve so astutely described. I haven't been playing it much because of my intensive job search, but I have enjoyed it so far!

I'm also active on League of Legends and Dungeons and Dragons Online, both very fun pick-up games. I enjoy DDO because some of my D&D buddies play it with some regularity and now that I'm at the new place, two of them will actually be physically present to play alongside! That always makes for a more enjoyable experience.

Signing off before I spend all day writing, thanks for checking the place out!

It's a Beholder! (DDO)

I've also fallen back into X3: Terran Conflict. I picked up this title late in the series, and the learning curve was HUGE; no doubts about that. With a little research on the web, however, I was able to quickly improve my game to the point where I just purchased my first major asset and have been enjoying cruising the universe in my shiny new superfreighter/carrier! I've also fallen back upon Day of Defeat: Source, as it's by far the best-balanced and most enjoyable pickup FPS I've ever played to date.
